12- Lead ECG interpretation and Arrhythmia Management and CCU1

This is an 11-day-program, a blend of two courses - ECG and CCU 1 - that perfectly compliments each other. The introductory component of the ECG entails lecture on anatomy and cardio electrophysiology. The second and exciting part of the course is a combination of arrhythmia interpretation and assessment with special emphasis in locating myocardial infarction (MI), normal axis deviation, electrolytes, pharmacotherapeutic, medical and nursing management.

The CCU 1, the counterpart of ECG, systematically examines and explores fundamental concepts of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiac system that brings a deeper appreciation of the participants’ recognition and understanding of the pathophysiology of the coronary artery disease, angina, MI, hypertension, cardiomyopathies, and heart failure.

This course is designed for nurses who are planning to work in the Step Down Unit, Coronary Care Unit or simply wants to embrace the cutting edge on the subject.
